When designing the newsroom, the focus was on efficient usability on all device types. Regardless of whether users visit the portal on a mobile device, tablet or PC: The Info Hub offers fast and targeted access. “Through innovative design and modern technical implementation, we are providing the BFW with a contemporary communication tool for its growing content offering,” says Jan L\u00fctzen, Creative Director at Visionaere. In the newsroom, BFW members and interested parties from the press, politics and the public can access the specialist information that is also distributed in the printed FWW magazine up to two weeks earlier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the information portal, which was developed as a responsive web application based on the WordPress content management system, Visionaere supplied an extensive image pool for the BFW editors. “Our many years of work for associations and real estate companies as well as our experience with the digitalization of customer and member magazines helped us to provide BFW with a powerful tool,” explains Jan L\u00fctzen. Visionaere will also support the newsroom in day-to-day business and gradually develop it further together with BFW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the BFW<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The BFW Bundesverband Freier Immobilien- und Wohnungsunternehmen e. V. (Federal Association of Independent Real Estate and Housing Companies) represents the interests of the medium-sized real estate industry. It currently has around 1,600 member companies. As the umbrella organization, the BFW is consulted by state parliaments and the Bundestag in legislative procedures relevant to the sector. The member companies account for 50 percent of new residential construction and 30 percent of new commercial construction. They therefore have a decisive influence on current and future living and working conditions in Germany. With a housing stock of 3.1 million apartments, they manage more than 14 percent of the entire rented housing stock in Germany.
