How do you communicate the city library’s wide range of more than 28,000 media – from e-books and DVDs to film streaming, from games to audio books and Tonies to comics, from music CDs to magazines – to the young people of Hennigsdorf? Despite their history of over a thousand years, libraries are by no means outdated, but have a highly modern range of services. To make this known, Visionaere developed a combined poster and digital campaign together with the city library and marketing team. The aim: to arouse the curiosity of young and old alike with a humorous mix of images and terms.

Bringing media diversity to life
The campaign publicizes the city library’s diverse digital and analog services and products. The style and tone of the campaign: accessible and cheerful, funny and colorful, modern and familiar – and never aloof or elitist.
Only 340 steps from the train station
Once interest has been aroused, the second important communication objective comes into focus: where is the city library actually located? In addition to communicating its central location, the positioning of the library as a place to meet and participate in education was an important goal of the campaign.
How does the campaign work?
Fun, entertainment and excitement are at the heart of the campaign. The campaign is aimed at all interested parties who were previously unaware that the library had attractive offers for them: especially teenage pupils and Hennigsdorf families. The humorous campaign motifs also attract attention, clicks and likes on social media.
